AOC Anjou-Villages

Tasting Notes

2006 2008

Deep purple color. Slightly jammy red and black fruit already dominates the nose, highlighted by notes of smoke and licorice.

The attack is smooth, almost lush, with plenty of fullness on the palate. The firm tannic structure will allow this wine to be cellared for several years.

Serving Suggestions

Enjoy with grilled or roasted meats and hard cheeses. In 3 to 5 years it will be a perfect accompaniment to spicy dishes.
